Gather your required hardware to install your new wireless modem.
Plug the wireless modem into an open USB port. Windows will automatically install the modem. A red light indicates that installation is in progress.
The light will flash green to signal that the modem is searching for an available wireless network.
When the status indicator light stops flashing, the wireless modem is connected and ready to use.

Whenever possible, use a wired connection for the best experience and performance. If a wired connection is not available, Wi-Fi is preferred. Use the wireless modem only when Wired or Wi-Fi connection is not available.
The wireless modem draws power from your device, therefore it is recommended that you connect to a power source whenever possible.
